Judge Vaughn Walker’s ruling that California’s Proposition 8 gay marriage ban was unconstitutional began to wreak havoc on the state’s heterosexual marriages. One of the first victims, Dudley (Dud) Langfit, found himself sleeping on the couch Wednesday night after the ruinous court decision.
"It’s already started", lamented Langfit, "The sanctity of marriage is being destroyed by the mere thought of men marrying men or women marrying women." Langfit said his troubles originated the day of the California District court ruling. The Modesto man, who is unemployed, arrived home as was his custom at about 1:45 in the morning, having spent the evening with a Tea Party group at a local pub.
